Who Can Use FR1ENDS

You must be 13 or older to use FR1ENDS. You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your account secure.

FR1ENDS is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers the software licence itself. The terms on this screen are additional and cover how you may behave inside the app.

How Group Chat Works

FR1ENDS is a screen time accountability app. Chat exists inside accountability groups of up to five people, joined by invitation only. There is no public feed and no browsing of other people's content, and messages are text only. Nobody can message you unless you accept their invitation into a group — the only thing someone you haven't accepted can send you is a group invitation, which you can decline.

Community Rules

Every member accepts these before their first message. Report a message by pressing and holding it in the chat, or by emailing hey@fr1ends.app.

1. Be decent. No harassment, hate, or abuse. Messages that break these rules are removed, and repeat offenders lose access to the group.
2. Report anything objectionable. Press and hold a message to report it. We review every report and remove content that breaks these rules.
3. Block anyone you don't want to hear from. Press and hold their message to block them; manage blocks in Settings → Blocked Users.

In this chat, do not post content that:

• Sexualizes minors in any way. See Child Safety below — this is zero tolerance.
• Threatens, harasses, bullies, or incites violence against anyone.
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Promotes illegal activity or the sale of controlled substances.
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity.
• Shares another person's private information without their consent.
• Is spam, or repeated unsolicited content.

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour.

What We Do About Violations

We review every report. Where content breaks these rules we remove it. Where a member repeatedly breaks these rules we revoke their access to the group, which immediately stops them reading or sending messages there.

Child Safety

FR1ENDS has zero tolerance for content that sexualizes minors or exploits children in any way. If we become aware of such content — through a report or otherwise — we will remove it immediately, terminate the account of the person who posted it, and preserve the evidence for cooperation with law enforcement in the applicable jurisdiction. Report suspected content in-app by pressing and holding the message, or by emailing hey@fr1ends.app.

Your Account

You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. One exception applies: if a message you sent was reported before you deleted it, the moderation copy of that message is kept for review, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of FR1ENDS after changes means you accept the updated terms.
